100% Worth the Subscription
This subscription contains for every day a breviary (Divine Office) suitable for both religious and laity (morning, evening, and night prayer), a Mass missal, daily Lectio Divina, lives of the saints, a monthly art appreciation, and monthly hymns and excellent editorials. All of these things take just 5 minutes, or more with meditation. Whether you want to use a couple for morning and evening prayer, or utilize all by taking a few times several times a day, all laity and religious can benefit from a subscription to Magnificat. Very loyal to the Magisterium, reverent, and the themes are applicable to current events (such as prayer intentions for political candidates during election year and on July 4, etc.).
Pros:
- Seamlessly go back and forth from the printed version to the app.
- The entire month downloads at once so you dont need to rely on being near wifi/phone signal.
- All the editorials are in the app, as well as RECORDINGS of the monthly hymns.
- My husband likes to read on the app while I read in the book, so we can pray together.
- Our whole family enjoys the different Grace Before and After Meals prayers that come out each month.
Con:
- The words are black and red on a cream background. For night viewing we would like gray words on a black background.
